Welcome to Pirate Monkey Audio!
Hi there, my name is Mark Renner, I’m a freelance Engineer/Producer and Pirate Monkey Audio is the small Mix/Overdub studio I operate from my home in the heart of downtown Toronto. I offer the equipment and experience that you would find at larger commercial facilities, in a comfortable and creative setting.
The studio is primarily a Mix/Edit/Overdub space, but can accommodate live off the floor recordings for small acoustic artists.
For projects that require larger spaces, such as drum tracking, there are a number of Toronto studios of various budgets I like to use (depending on the project). As an alternative, I also offer location recording, where I would setup in a rehearsal space, cottage, haunted amusement park, etc. to record.
